No, it's not 10 minutes long. Sound Science gave me 10 minutes to come up with a rhyme to share with the other club members, and this is what I came up with:
I never thought I could hate the word "love" so much.
And yet I also hate the word "hate."
But what difference does it make?
L-o-v-e and h-a-t-e.
They end in the same vowel,
and have the same number of letters,
and both go into a phase change with each other.
When you love someone too much, you grow to hate.
And when you hate, you grow to love.
And yet sometimes you hate that you love someone.
So does this even make sense?
I don't know if I can love anymore,
and I don't think I can hate just the same.
So to give a final goodbye,
and let these two words die:
I love to hate the haters who love to hate,
and I hate the lovers who give up and conform to hate.
